 Pharmacists in Ontario can now assess and prescribe for 19 minor ailments:

• Acne (mild)
• Allergic rhinitis
• Aphthous Ulcers (canker sores)
• Candidal stomatitis (oral thrush)
• Conjunctivitis (bacterial, allergic, or viral)
• Dermatitis (atopic/eczema, allergic, or contact)
• Diaper dermatitis
• Dysmenorrhea
• Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)
• Hemorrhoids
• Herpes labialis (cold sores)
• Impetigo
• Insect bites and urticaria (hives)
• Tick bites, post-exposure prophylaxis to prevent Lyme disease
• Musculoskeletal sprains and strains
• Nausea and vomiting of pregnancy
• Pinworms and threadworms
• Urinary tract infections (uncomplicated)
• Vulvovaginal candidiasis (yeast infection)

These consultations are covered under OHIP for all with an Ontario Health Card.  Please call or visit store for details.

Through a collaboration with nurse practitioners and physicians, we are now able to offer expanded prescribing for strep throat, oral contraception, shingles treatment, travel medicine and prevention of RSV, Pneumococcal pneumonia and shingles.  Explore these through our appointments link.

Injection Certified Pharmacists can inject Flu, Covid, Shingles, RSV, travel vaccines  and other vaccines & medications.  Speak to our pharmacy team for more information.  Appointments are required.

Having trouble remembering to take your medication?  Unsure if you are taking the right medication at the right time?  We offer medication blister packaging.  Speak to our pharmacy team today.

Responsibly return unused and expired prescription drugs, over the counter medications, natural health products and sharps devices to our pharmacy for free disposal.  We will provide you with a safe sharps collection container free of charge.  Please dump pills into a ziploc bag prior to bringing to pharmacy.  We do not accept medications in plastic bottles or boxes.  Keep liquids and topical ointments and creams in original containers, but separate into another bag.  For clarification of these instructions, contact us.

Due to new guidelines, we do some compounding on site, but most is centrally filled through an agreement with Helios Compounding Pharmacy.  This allows us to fulfill any compounded prescription for our patients within days. 

Customers 55 and over enjoy 20% off on regular priced, non-prescription items.  Excludes lottery, postage, and over the counter codeine products.

Home health care equipment such as canes, crutches, wheelchairs, raised toilet seats, bath seats, transfer benches, walkers and rollators for rent or purchase.  We also sell aids of daily living, sports braces and diabetic socks.
